Celebrate Black History

February is Black History Month, an annual observance remembering people and events in the history of the African diaspora by celebrating Black stories, struggles, and triumphs.

The Heartland Community College Library celebrates Black History Month by curating displays and providing resources that honor the contributions, voices, and culture of African Americans.

Resources

The library has a collection of books on display in the library highlighting African American history and black authors. These books are available for check-out. Below, you will find a sampling of those books available at the library, including some of those on display.
