Updates for Faculty - Spring 2024

International Programs is hosting two major events this semester, both during the first week of April.  

• India Festival  

  • Through a grant from Indiana University, we are hosting our second annual cultural festival, and this year, we will be focusing on India. For our features showcase, we are bringing 2 scholars and artists from India in order to show & talk about their work. In addition to these two guests, we will also have a religious panel discussion, dance and artist workshops, not to mention food!

  • In partnership with Harper College, we are hosting a travelling Ugandan dance troupe on their way from St. Louis to Chicago. This group will give an open performance in addition to their class visits.

Site Visits: 

This spring will have five site visits, which are intended to introduce faculty and staff to a program so that they will be better able to promote the program to students through first-hand experience.
