At Heartland Community College Pontiac (HCCP), a student can:
- Be a Hometown Hawk
- Participate in a variety of activities with other local students throughout the semester
- Enjoy the Hawk Hangout and/or Student Center

- Take exams – Appointments required
- Proctored placement, class, and GED exams.
- Call 815-842-6777, email Pontiac.Center@heartland.edu, or schedule through myHeartland to arrange an on-campus test.
- Testing appointments are required prior to the day of testing. Walk-in appointments will not be able to test same day
- Study on campus
- Access Wi-Fi, work in a quiet setting, collaborate with fellow students, and print needed class materials.
- Attend weekly face-to-face tutoring on Thursdays from 10am-3pm
- Students can also request additional face-to-face tutoring or online tutoring at www.heartland.edu/tutoring.
- Request counseling services in person or online www.heartland.edu/counseling.
- Utilize library & bookstore services
- Coordinate with the Pontiac staff to request library materials be sent to the Pontiac campus.
- HCC ID cards can also be processed in Pontiac.
- Arrange for Pontiac staff to pick-up or drop-off items for the bookstore.
- Access Food Share Program
- Variety of food and non-food items available to students.
- Pay tuition
- Cashiering services for local students
- Check, debit/credit card & money order accepted. Cash not accepted.
- Seek additional assistance from external service organizations
- On-site appointments with Livingston County Workforce Services and Mid-Central Community Action Center are available at HCCP.
- HCCP is located at 211 E Madison St, Suite #2 Pontiac, IL 61761
- Operating Hours for HCCP for Spring 2024 are Monday-Thursday, 8am-8pm. Closed on Fridays.
